We are looking for an excellent instructor with experience of delivering Motor Vehicle qualifications up to Level 2 to cover a maternity leave at Pitstop

Term time only, 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
Range Level 5, £21,724 - £26,315, Full Time Equivalent including Local Weighting
Actual pro rata salary: £11,161 - £13,520

Due to increased capacity at the College, we require a Manager of Springboard, one of our Key Stage 4 provisions, to ensure the smooth day to day management of the centre. Springboard educates up to 30 students who have been permanently excluded or at risk of exclusion from local mainstream schools.

The successful postholder will lead and manage the staff team (currently 22) to raise standards of learner achievement across the curriculum. They will also ensure the provision of a broad, balanced, relevant, motivating and differentiated curriculum for all learners as well as monitoring learner attendance and ensuring that behaviour management systems and procedures are in place, monitored and consistently adhered to.

Applicants must be a qualified teacher with proven experience of senior leadership and experience of working effectively with children who have Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, either in a special school, PRU or within a mainstream setting.

Due to the increase in numbers of students at Haybrook College with complex needs, we need to recruit an additional Sports Coach Mentor. Our Sports Coach Mentors play a key role supporting teachers in the classroom by mentoring young,disaffected people with challenging behaviour. They provide additional support for offsite activities,personal development and sports programmes. Experience of working with young people who find a mainstream school environment challenging would be advantageous.
